Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. by Harry Styles released on March 6, 2026. It’s groovy, fun, and upbeat. In recent interviews, Harry has expressed that while writing this album, he’s learned to fall back in love with his music, writing, and performing. The album was inspired by Styles’ experience of nightlife in Berlin and Rome. He wanted to capture the feeling of being in the middle of the dance floor and just letting loose.
When Harry’s single for this album was released, I was hesitant about the sound of it. When I was listening to it for the first time, I was shocked by how different it sounded. Compared to his other albums, this song was synth-heavy with that electro disco feeling. The song is also 5 minutes long! It’s about acknowledging the mistakes you’ve made and realizing that there are things you won’t ever know. The lyrics “It’s best you know what you don’t” are repeated throughout this song. I can definitely tell that he had a lot of fun with this song. I think it’s the perfect single for this record.
It did take me some time to grow on the album. Though, one song that I’ve loved since it’s release, and I’m sure many others can relate, is “Coming Up Roses”. This soft-pop and intimate ballad features an orchestra that really drives the idea that a relationship doesn’t need to last forever in order for it to be special. It reminds me of “Cherry” from Harry’s album Fine Line. In this song, Harry is honest and raw about his feelings after a breakup. I think "Coming Up Roses” is so loved because it is so vulnerable.
If you were to ask me what my favorite song from Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. is I’d say “Dance no More”. This song captures what it was like for him to finally feel free from the pressures he faces as a celebrity. He finally stopped caring about being filmed by fans at a club in Berlin and just danced. I absolutely love that this song is about dancing. The lyrics, the beat, the electric bass, and the chanting in the song are so fun! There’s even a point in the song when Harry scats with the electric bass. It’s my absolute favorite moment! This song could definitely get me out of a bad mood. Heck, this whole album could!
